In 2014, Nicole Kidman got in touch with Liane Moriarty and asked her out for coffee. In all likelihood, she's the most successful author you've never heard of that this country has ever seen. Yet she's unknown to the gossip columns, the celebrity magazines, or the rich lists – not to mention, for the most part, the books pages.
